About
Buckley Projects
Founded in 2011, Buckley Projects is a creative studio defined by its ability to shift and evolve over time. What started as Scout’s Honor Paper—a line of stationery sold in stores throughout the US and abroad—has developed into a multidisciplinary workshop. Today, Buckley Projects is a practice devoted to color, shape, and connection in all its forms: painting, collage, illustration, styling, jewelry, and more. With a process rooted in a wide-ranging cultural curiosity, every endeavor is treated with the utmost quality and care.
Annemarie Buckley
Originally from Geneva, New York, Annemarie Buckley studied art, design, and art history at Boston University before founding her studio in 2011. Now Burlington, Vermont-based, she is driven by her fascination with color and affection for the local landscape. Buckley’s work references the iconography of Tom Slaughter, the geometric abstraction of Shirley Jaffe, the clarity of Ellsworth Kelly, and the energy of Corita Kent—among other inspirations. She continuously explores within her distinctive language, seeking and sharing moments of joy and discovery along the way.
