• 3-color split fountain screen print

• Split fountain is a style of printing in which two or more inks are placed next to each other at the edge of the screen. Each time the squeegee is pulled, the inks slowly blend together, forming new colors. The relationship between the colors and their respective proportions evolve throughout the printing process. No two prints are exactly the same. Please see photos for examples of the two most “different” prints in this set. Your print will either resemble one of these or fall somewhere in between.
